Miksi Early Access?

The core features and mechanics are in place and we are looking to add content and polish to the game. We are choosing Early Access to let the players who are interested in our freestyle racing game to start playing right away, while providing feedback which will help shape aspects of the final version of the game.

As an Early Access title, Traction Control is not yet finished. Levels, and cars are subject to updates and we plan to add more content over the course of development. Certain elements of the UI/UX may be unrefined or buggy at times.

We intend to leave Early Access once we have proven stability in our feature set.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

The plan is to be in Early Access for 8 months. In this time, our primary focus will be networking and feature stability where necessary. Additional time will be devoted to bug fixes, UX improvements, and addressing player feedback.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

Over the course of Early Access we plan to add more levels, more cars, and more cosmetic unlocks to ship with the full version. We also intend to expand our multiplayer and networking features and infrastructure.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

Traction Control is in a beta state. The games mechanics and design are largely finished. The game has a varierty of playable levels and cars. The game supports leaderboards, ghost uploading and downloading for asynchronous racing, and synchronous multiplayer lobbies on limited dedicated servers.

Content and features are subject to polish and stability updates throughout and after Early Access.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

We intend to increase the price after Early Access, while still being priced competitively against other indie titles.

Miten yhteisö otetaan mukaan kehitysprosessiin?

Player feedback is important to us. The community discord for Traction Control is allows players to give feedback and generate discussion directly with the development team. We also have a Beta Tester program accessible through Sailboat Studio's contact page.
