Miksi Early Access?

Flames in Modern Europe is a complex strategy game with very big ambitions and very low funding. It's being developed by one person, and I chose early access to involve players in the development process, get feedback, and gradually improve the game's mechanics, balance, and content.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

The duration of the Early Access is currently unknown. We plan to release the full version when the game is fully finished and meets our expectations. It is estimated that this could happen by April 2026, but the timeline may change depending on the development progress.

We plan to add a storyline and content unique to most European countries, as well as introduce new mechanics that will facilitate deeper interaction with the world. Our goals include improved character development, an updated combat system, and significant improvements to the visuals, including the interface, 3D graphics, textures, and map detail.

The game is currently quite playable and can offer an interesting experience, although there are still bugs and some mechanics are not implemented. For a detailed list of available features and content, please refer to the “About This” section.

MAIN MECHANICS

Courses: In the country menu, you have several courses, such as political and economic. This is your plan to achieve greatness in Europe.
Decisions: Make important decisions for your country, such as government propaganda or money printing.
Economy: Build new structures that will work for the benefit of the state. Use the budget menu to adjust the expenses and efficiency of various areas of the country, such as construction, research, the army, and administration. Don't forget about the average salary!
Research: Investigate new technologies that will help your country become the most progressive.
Army: No further explanation needed... Press the red button!

This game is a fictional alternate history. All events, characters, and situations depicted in the game are a product of creative fiction and are not intended to exploit or offend any person or group of people. Any similarities to real persons are unintentional and used solely to provide realism to the gameplay. The purpose of the game is to immerse players in an alternate development of events in modern Europe, not to recreate real history or political reality.
