“We currently plan to keep SORROW: Rise of Divinity in Early Access for 12 to 18 months, depending on community feedback and the success of our funding campaign.

We're building an ambitious hybrid of mythological RPG, multiplayer survival, and player-driven progression. If we reach our funding goals, we’ll be able to expand the core team and accelerate development.

Our goal is to deliver the full experience by early 2026, with regular content updates along the way. Support from Early Access players will be critical to helping us reach that vision.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of SORROW: Rise of Divinity will offer a much larger, more refined experience built on top of the Early Access foundation.

Our vision includes:

A full mythological story mode with cinematic missions and moral reincarnation paths

Expanded divine systems, karma-based progression, and ascension mechanics

Richer multiplayer modes, including divine wars, elite challenge leagues, and social simulation zones

Advanced combat mechanics, trophy systems, and story-driven rewards

A connected online economy and seasonal divine ranking system

The Early Access version will focus on core combat, challenge mode, inventory, and store systems. As development continues, we’ll expand the world, refine balance, and unlock new systems based on player feedback and funding progress.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes a playable foundation focused on combat, challenge mode, training systems, and online multiplayer testing.

Key systems already working or being tested:

Third-person deathmatch with unique emotional and myth-based mechanics

Early inventory and store system with server-side item control

Training and elite challenge access

Steam integration and reward tracking

Visuals, sound, and animations are actively being improved, and future updates will introduce story missions, trophies, karma-based character progression, and divine elements.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes—we are offering the Early Access version at a substantially lower price to thank early supporters and help fund the game's development.

As new features are added—including expanded story content, divine progression, elite challenge systems, multiplayer worlds, and lore-based gameplay—we plan to gradually raise the price to reflect the growing scope and value of the experience.

The final version will launch at a much higher premium price, so players who join now receive lifetime access at the best possible value.
