This is a playable demo of our upcoming psychological horror game.
In this demo, you will explore a three-story house inherited by the main character, John Halberg, who is struggling financially and hoping to sell it. However, as night falls, the house begins to reveal a disturbing history tied to his grandfather — a once-respected surgeon whose obsession with reversing death led to horrifying experiments.

🕹️ What’s included in the demo:

• Around 35–45 minutes of immersive single-player gameplay

• Two fully accessible floors of the house (ground and upper floor)

• 5+ rooms to explore, each with unique environmental storytelling

• Multiple environmental puzzles including:

  • A vintage radio frequency puzzle

  • A VHS playback segment revealing disturbing footage

  • Handwritten notes and medical records to piece together the past

• The demo concludes with a brief but memorable cutscene that reveals the darkest face of the mystery.

• Atmospheric horror without cheap jump scares — focused on tension and discovery

This demo is a standalone experience that serves as a glimpse into the full game’s tone, mystery, and psychological depth.

⚠️ Note:

This demo does not include access to the basement floor or any combat mechanics.
The full version will expand the story and offer deeper exploration.

We used AI-based image generation tools to create our visual assets (store banners, concept art, and some in-game backgrounds). Voice performances were recorded manually, then processed with AI audio tools to enhance and modulate the actor’s voice (e.g. adjusting thickness and tone). No generative AI is used during actual gameplay or to create code or dialogue in real time.

The Dark Legacy Demo contains strong psychological horror and graphic violence, including realistic blood and gore effects, sudden jump scares, and unsettling ambient audio. There is no sexual content, drug use, self-harm themes, or animal cruelty in this demo.
