In the dark city of Midnight City, you embody a detective hunting a serial killer. You have only 4 in-game hours to solve the case - analyze crime descriptions, witness statements, notes, and autopsy reports. Verify information in the police database to sift truth from false leads.

Choose the case files and dive into the investigation! Gather clues on the detective board - pin pages from files, print data from the police database, connect leads into a coherent theory. Designate the location of the next crime, suspect individuals, and select the one killer from among them. Each approach reveals new layers of mysteries and alternative paths.

Someone mysterious will try to stop you! Repel hacking attacks with logical or dexterity challenges, react to dimming lights by switching fuses before darkness falls. Don't let yourself be distracted because time is not on your side.

  • Case file analysis – examine reports, testimonies, and field notes to uncover contradictions and hidden clues.

  • Police database – verify people, places, and objects in the MCPD system to confirm or dismiss your theories.

  • Detective board – connect evidence into logical threads and identify the killer and the next crime scene.

  • Time pressure – you have only 4 in-game hours (~30 minutes real time) to solve the case before it’s too late.

  • Multiple investigations – each case comes with unique suspects, documents, and false leads.

  • Increasing difficulty – later cases demand deeper deduction and sharper time management.
