I did not expect to give this a positive review. However, after turning off auto-combo and trying to understand what the game expects from the player, it becomes much, much more entertaining.

Has a REALLY good stage select system where you fuse items together to create the "run" that you want to play. Combat is a lil janky and there's lots of jokes in the game, overall a fun video game.

Really great mecha aesthetics inside of a roguelike action platformer. Mechanic skill is required here for dodging, attacking, parrying, etc. Has really good boss design and class abilities.

This dev went all in on a "Platform fighter action roguelike". It isn't just "add fire to your attacks" but also "wall splats cause explosions", "Wavedash increases damage", lots of mechanics here.

Probably the best "Curse" system in any action roguelike right now. It also features methodical combat, closer to a souls game. No Dodge Dodge Revolution here.

Beautiful pixel graphics and a unique battle system where you equip a "character moveset" as a skull on your head. This is probably the best action roguelike difficulty model as well.

Takes the gameplay of an ARPG (openish map with objectives, a character who's abilities you augment) with this dev's classic PUNISHING systems, to make a super satisfying roguelike to play anytime.

This is best described as a campaign game with a roguelike gameplay loop. The story is your carrot on the stick to play more. If you get immersed in the story, its easily a GOAT'd game.

An extremely well made action roguelike where you pilot Blazblue Fighting game characters. You start off with a blank character with no moveset, and by the end of a run, you made your own moveset.
