Report a translation problem
Make sure any Steam shortcuts on your dock are launching through Steam directly (they should say "steam://rungameid/346010" or similar) and not directly launching a .EXE file (e.g. "c:/games/csgo.exe") or you may get messages saying you cannot connect to multiplayer or Steam networks.
There's no way anti-cheats would register Decent Icons as a suspicious program because it does nothing suspicious. I doesn't input any buttons/keys on your behalf, it doesn't modify other exes...
I've been playing A LOT a game with Easy Anti-Cheat and obviously it has never been a problem all these months. Despite Easy liberally giving random warnings for other trivial things, such as trying to hibernate my PC without exiting the game.
(Just to elaborate a bit more on what the dev said.)
