As for the issue, I'm sorry to hear you're having this problem. I'm unable to replicate the issue on my end. Do you have the inactive opacity set to 0? The lower you set the inactive opacity setting, the less visible the icons will be until hovered over. So if the Inactive Opacity slider is set to 0, the icons should be completely invisible unless moused over, regardless of title setting.

I have tried setting the inactive opacity to 50% and enabling title cards / titles and it doesn't seem to cause any issues on my end.

Yeah I just replicated the issue - it doesn't matter what level of opacity I choose it never changes when I hover over it.

I'm usually at 0% opacity until hovered over but without the title card it never shows. When I set the opacity to 50% and maximum greyscale the icons where shown in color when hovered but always stayed at 50% opacity as long as I had disabled the title-card. When I re-enabled it the icons where shown in color and with 100% opacity when hovered no matter what the opacity-level while inactive was
