Have you toggled the view mode? You can go walls up, wall on view side down or all down. Hope this helps.

Yeah the back of the garage has to be exposed for some reason. Like I couldn't build a hallway around it.

oh yes, there's a permanent border. For some reason they decided the garage can't connect directly to the building. No idea why. It's an annoying loss of space and efficiency.

i think folks such as myself are waiting patiently for them to do an update here in the near future to fix some of these bugs. I'm surprised that more people are still able to play. I however only get the blue screen and non functioning drop downs. I've seen a few others on here who have the same issue. It appears that there's a problem with the save procedure (regardless if it's manual OR auto)...

I have tried so many ways to make walls around it and its still a no go. Its very bothersome when the majors men come thru and walts right thru the open end of the garage... Whats the point of the strong doors... The walls have no corner piece so you cant wall it in properly because they just go thru that. Horrible design, for no reason.

I found running a corridor horseshoeing round the garages works well in joining everything together , yeah it takes up extra tiles to do but you can have doors and there is loads of space anyway plus door can be removed just before major will attack and they cant get in

Welcome to the chaos friend. Good luck with your sanity. I was an early adopter when I saw it on a stream and was pumped! The bugs and lack of follow through became maddening. The most basic gameplay aspect broken. Typical alpha release syndrome were all stuck with these days. The question is will it ever get better ?
