Police Chief Extortion raids....
I get it , there is now a reason for guards , but man can we get a little more time in between his Extortion raids ? seems like this fool is demanding every 2-3 days. i thought he was asking for 'Weekly' bribes , not daily ?

Don't get me wrong here , i like having raids , makes things interesting. but can you guys tweek the numbers just a little please ? i have the money to pay , but i choose to fight because it sometimes is cheaper. then again there are those other times when it cost me dearly. lol

I came back to this game just yesterday and started a new campaign and he said he's coming every few days, so weekly it not correct. But what worries me more are the costs itself, it started with ~300, than ~900 and than ~2700 so *3 every time you pay.

Right now I'm cheesing a little bit and remove the doors and reject to pay, but it could need a small adjustment in later patches.

just set a one way entrance on the opposite side of your "new employee" spawn point, with a set of single person long narrow corridors with bear traps, eventually upgrading to vacuum sealed rooms. To let new employees in just add a temp door where they spawn, then remove it once they make it inside. one or two engineers set to work on the "trap" room means you'll always have traps set before the next raid

I agree that the frequency of raids should be reduced a little or, better still, included in the new difficulty settings that I HOPE they are working on!

Otherwise, as has been said above, I think that a passive defensive strategy is the best if you don't want to pay. Set up a long windy route from the main entrance with plenty of traps, mines and the like - I hadn't thought of including a vacuum room, that's a really good idea! 😈

+1 you do not have the employee count to properly deal with there numbers or equipment. Cheesing them is the only thing you can do they really need to re-balance this or give us an option to turn it off.

I own a whole corner and have 7 guards 1 engineer 1 cleaner and 9 workers. I only have 2 businesses atm a donut shop and a laundry mat. I geared my guys with what I could all with full samurai armor shotguns and riot shields and they just get utterly destroyed by the raid. I even have level 3 of the buff for the guard defense and I have 0% chance of beating a raid legit. I wouldn't really care if his payment requests were reasonable.

All in all police raids needs toned down. Also traps are somewhat useless because you can't give your guards the anti trap shoes and armor and weapon together. You also cant directly control your guards to stop them from doing dumb stuff and putting them on patrol seems to only kill them because they dont break properly (in my experience).

I'd guess that the patrols are only really useful in large factories where they could help keep your guards near the exposed entry points ... so they can then get killed quicker!! 😂

Just found out about this game and wanted to give it a shot... but after reading a few topics like this one, I decided to avoid this frustration/cheese only game. Thanks for the info folks!

P.S. I guess testing the product is no longer something devs do... seems it was pretty easy to figure out how broken this is, yet it's in the game.
