You can use the Hotline or make a legit business that sells the drugs. Never once made any amount of money on either so no freaking clue, tried to figure it out, couldnt was gonna refund but it was already over 2 hours so now I have to figure it out.

You get Revenue at Factory by selling to the Hotline. If you're not that probably means you're not balancing your budget right or you're not selling enough to turn a profit. Same goes with the business.

Cause the tutorial tells you nothing, and the discord is even worse. If you dont make it to the orders on time and complete them you just no money and setting up a business at the start and the factory is at least over 15k which means you cant get the hotline. You shouldnt have to min-max 5 minutes in. Most of my play time was dealing with bugs that I had to figure out myself

the discord is great, a lot of friendly and helpful people there

This would be revenue from the hotline orders, you select a scooter and then select the icon that will appear on the map when the hotline order has been taken. The amount you generate from that order will accumulate against the factory revenue.

I would ignore these orders and only use them if you do not have a business which you can send your drug to. The only time I used hotline order is when I had first started making meth and did not have a business to sell it to, so the hotline order came in handy.

Once you have established business to sell your drugs, the hotline become useless.
