Stupid Drivers
The delivery drivers follow the longest possible paths! Rather than turning left for a delivery, they will drive completely around the block so that the delivery point is on their right!? Wth?!

I understand.

My problem is that I started a small laundry on a corner of a square, facing a road with parking slots, and no, they go round the corner and stops there. So my employees have to travel throught the all landplot to get the products. Only solution is rebuild closer.

Same! I believe the “Handicap” parking sign is where the trucks stop. Or at least thats where it has most commonly stopped for me.

Agreed. When building a new site we need some indication of where the supply vehicles will stop.

You can send a vehicle to supply the site once you've purchased the site but before you start building. It will then sit there until it's manually sent back to the factory or you hire/assign staff and build storage to unload it to.

Aye, that's an interesting workaround that could help out until the game:

*) indicates where drop-offs are always made
*) gives us the option to select our preferred stopping point
*) has drivers with the intelligence to stop at the space closest to the store room
BUMP, i just got annoyed by this, I build my shop near a parking lot but somehow the delivery guy decided to use the farthest one,we really need an option to either SEE where it will park or even better, WE choose the preferred stopping point. Sorry to revive the thread but I didn't want to create a new post.

If it helps, when setting up a store I have the truck deliver before I build anything. I setup the route and follow it until it stops, quickly pause and add my storage room and loading workers. It's not a perfect solution but it works.

However, it often ends up in the middle of the building so being able to set your preferred point would be even better.
