I tried to build a kitchen a couple of times, installed all the necessary items, with and without vending machines. The characters approach the refrigerator, take food, head either to the stove or to the table, immediately return back to the sink or refrigerator and demand food with icons above their heads. The hunger scale is not being filled in.
