Can those with the older 2009 Amazon version upgrade this remaster?

I wasn't expecting this to get published by Fruitbat since Rockin' Android had the rights to the game back then and about a year and a half ago I bought the older 2009 version by Rockin' Android from Amazon, so I was wondering could it be possible for those with the 2009 version can upgrade to the remastered version with some kind of proof of purchase from Amazon?

The old version was by a different publisher, and a fully different localization to begin with, so I'm afraid that's not possible.
