Steamdeck support?
Does anyone know if you can run this on steamdeck? I had a lot of fun with RPG maker on the switch, and would like to know if this can be a similar experience.
Does it even run on the steamdeck? If anyone can test it out I'd greatly appreciate it!

You'll certainly have a lot of fun with this one.. keep in mind its in EA so expect bugs/issues to arise at any time for the time being until the devs get around to fixing them, and the reported ones.

As far as the SteamDek thing.. i'm not sure myself.. if it does work i'd imagine it would quite difficult to use.. 'cos you need the mouse to move things around on the editor, rotate the camera in the editor whilst building, and stuff.

I've actually programmed several games to run using only the track pads as mouse controls and back keys for shortcuts - such as The Witcher 1 - and they work exceedingly well. I could always connect a mouse and keyboard and dock it when I decide which dock to buy, so I wouldn't mind if it's clunky. My only concern is it actually running since it still early release and it says unsupported.

Well.. if it says unsupported than that means it wont work on SteamDeck as of yet (or might work but with many issues) because the developers haven't tried and tested it themselves. SteamDeck support is not at the top of their priority just yet, they want to get it up and running and working perfectly for PC users first. They might then support its use in SteamDeck.

To be fair, this is not always the case. Take The Witcher 1 and 2, as well as FFXIII-2, they say unsupported but actually run well. In the case of The Witcher its a controls things, others have clunky launchers or small font that wont get them a verified checkmark. This game is super new, hence why it makes sense it'll take a while to find out. Thanks for replies though!

in all honesty, id hold off on the SteamDeck usage for Bakin, there's bugs and camera control issues present in Bakin so it for sure would be messed up on SteamDeck any hows, if it works.

Nonsense, it just means there isn't enough data on it from users and valve hasn't done any testing/specific tweaks to make it work. Lots of unsupported games work.
Hook up a mouse and give it a try. lol

Anytime you see this window pop-up, Bakin crashes on Steam Deck.

I haven't really tried to troubleshoot what causes the crash yet, but since the modified kmyCore.dll was accessible via the Win7 guide, I did try that really quick and it doesn't resolve this crash on Steam Deck. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2876781799

And yes it crashes in Desktop Mode at the same point too.
