Bakin intermittently hangs
Has anyone experienced Bakin hanging when resources in the leftmost menu is selected. it has happened to me twice today and I have to manually stop the program.

I've noticed if you try to do thigns too quick in bakin, like click stuff, drag stuff, open/close menus it can sometime lag bakin and cause it to shut down.. that's happened to me a couple of times.

Yes. Or if i upload a custom texture to a model it crashes. but then appears on the model when i come back after a reload.
Tons of lag in the editor. The test play runs great tho. even with character models at 6-9k polys. just while in the editor....it hates it so much.

I think it might be something to do with how the engine loads every model over every time you go into a new window or section/tab. The size of the models are probably too much for it to handle when loading, so it forces a non-responsive state of the program whilst it tries to sort itself out loading assets, but inevitably crashes instead. This IS beta though so don't expect it to be fixed straight away.

I'd check the system requirements, the devs recently updated the system requirements for Bakin,

It could be that your system (PC? Laptop?) ain't quite hitting those requirements. Also, i'd message the develoeprs and ask for more info on that.. they could possibly ask you for your system specs to see if there's anything they can do too. I mean i'm using a spare PC thats using a GTX 1070ti card and dont get no lag, it might be some other process running that's causing it to lag like that.. check your processes whilst Bakin is running... OR it could be you don't have enough RAM, might be your Antivirus not allowing the process through properly, i mean it could be literally anything with lack of information really. Are you running two monitors? do you have other windows and such open when running Bakin? Maybe your PC is updating or AV is updating when it lags? What are you running Bakin on? Windows OS or some other OS? or maybe trying to run it on STEAMDECK? More info is key here.
