Moving platforms

The prepackaged game orb stories had moving platforms over lava, but when I make an object fly over water and the player stands on it, they get knocked off, how do I fix this

I have this issue too, I copy/pasted the platform from 'orb stories' and into my own game, when the player stands on the platform you have to move with the platform and cant stand still on it and the model will move on its own with the platform. I am using an SGB 3D Type A character model and not a 2D pixel character.
