That said, in 2024 the devs will be adding in a Tactical/Strategy RPG system to Bakin too at some point, (unsure if this'll be DLC or free) so probably with enough requests for an Action RPG system they'd consider this too at a later time, especially when the market for RPG games now are more Action orientated and not just Jrpg/Dungeon Crawler.
.
So, with the use of Unity Exporter coming in 2024 also for Bakin THIS might actually make action games more manageable, well.. easier to make, possibly using Bakin. I have seen YT videos of people experimenting with Action systems within it, also seen a tut somewhere, i'll find it and add the link at the bottom.

I do beg to differ Sy, over some extensive testing another member and I have been able to make a very fluid ARPG as well as have Party AI. https://twitter.com/MelonToucan/status/1716442280205123813 Just recently I was able to get this working. So in all honesty RPG Developer Bakin is only limited in your own knowledge and certain limitations.
I've not been in the Bakin Discord group for over 3 months so I wouldn't have known you and whoever had made this AI system. It looks good but I wouldn't say its on the same A-Rpg level as Final Fantasy 14/15/16 or Trials of Mana!
Any hows, I DID NOT say in my replay above to the OP that it is NOT possible, I said it's possible but it wouldn't be fluid, meaning works like say FF14/15/16 A-rpg systems at all, if that is what they are expecting.. and I stand by that for now. Even stated there are those who are working on A-Rpg systems themselves on YT. Even seen action based combat where the player is running up trees. flipping off them like proper ninjas.. LOL!
When I said it was a system really not meant for it, that is 100% true also, Bakin was generally made for Jrpg, basic platformers in 2D/2.5D/3D in mind. It wasn't purposely built for action rpgs from the start and it really stilll isnt, it needs more fine tuning to get the action rpgs perfect. The 1st person Dungeon Crawler came later, just like the tactical system is coming at some point in 2024.
However, i'm sure the devs will get around to fine tuning Bakin for a better action system eventually, as it is atm.. it's not great to set up, and a LOT of work. That won't be easy for someone who has not used Bakin before or SGB previously, especially for someone who dont understand evening, scripting, C#, etc.. but those would come with practice, it just depends really on how much work they want to put into learning Bakin and it's systems, so yeah.. your right in it boils down to knowledge, but there's still limitations bakin has that don't make it an easy genre and system to make/code/build.
