How To Change Armor Visuals When Equipping
I've been tinkering around with subgraphics but I can't seem to tie that in with equipment or armors.

I'm guessing you've not set up a common event sync & repeat to check if a piece of equipment is equipped and if it is then turning the subgraphic display on.
