How customisalbe?
Im interested in the software but would like to know how much of it can you make custom, like the ui and menus, animations etc to give it unique feel?

Absolutely EVERYTHING is customizable, UI. Menus, etc, EVERYTHING can be changed to your own graphics, etc. The animations you can make yourself and import them as long as you use the animations engine Bakin uses. The battle system though has limits unless your good at C# and can script an entire system from scratch. There's presets for systems you can use or make your own entirely if gifted enough. The presets are Platform style, Doom-like 1st person style, 3D rpg, 2.5D rpg. It's possible to lock camera controls too to make rpgs similar to games like RPG Maker 2D rpgs. Custom items need to be using specific versions of engines so you'll need to look further into that BUT yeah.. just about everything you can change to what YOU want.

Just wondering - do you know if, in case you are a programmer, can you fully change the battle system (or other scenes) completely? Is the code for everything completely open for change like in RPG Maker MV/MZ?

Thanks for replies, It sounds good that can you customise, what worry me about engines is if the games all look the same and not unique. I might try it out, what are peoples experiences using it? I would be interested to make like a FFVII game that would be possible you think?
