I made a working character in 1 month of learning but i did go hard that month(8-10hrs a day of messing around in blender) and i managed to export it into bakin...run around. Jump etc...
Custom Animations take a bit to learn. So im still doing that. I took a break cuz of some real life stuff. But i still pick it up quite often and mess around in it.
There are however MANY FREEEEEE animations that you can add to your built characters using AccuRig or Mixamo. I highly reccomend checking them out. Take a bit to figure out but theyre simple to use.
If i had time i would make you characters myself based off of loose sketches you provided. But im pretty busy in real life right now.
