Flag Stick

Hi! Love the software. But how do you get the flag stick to the right depth so test/play actually goes in the hole without changing depth (shift up and down)? I click on the flag stick but it is changing the depth of the actual green so that all four corners are going up to the hole. Also, is there an option to add a flagstick separate from when you create hole? this would make development much easier. Thanks!

Hi there,

For now, the flag pole and cup are always linked to a green piece, so there isn't a way to detach the flag from the green.

But I can see the usefulness of being able to separate the cup and flagpole from the green so I will put that on the to-do list.

Kevin, sorry, forgot to add. I have a friend on here who wants to work with me to develop a course. He's on my friends list. Besides actually playing the game, how can I share what I am working on with my friend so we can both see and develop the course in real time? I set up a workshop and understand the screenshots, so appreciate any guidance. Thanks again, James

Unfortunately the Course Creator doesn't support multiplayer level editing. Unless a lot of people end up wanting this feature I don't see it being added because it would probably require most of the Course Creator to be rewritten.

I would like to mention that you don't actually need to upload your course to the workshop to play it with your friend. Whenever you host a game, all other players are automatically sent the course data, so they can play a course without getting it from the workshop.
