Adding a hole?

I am trying out the editor. How do I add the cup or hole at the end of the course? The piece with the flag is what I'm using, but the white looking hole/cup turns out to only be a flat painted circle and not an actual hole. How do I add a hole so that the current course can be completed?

Is the hole intersecting with the ground or with something else below it? Try raising the flag green piece up a little bit, there should be a hole where the flag is.
