This game mode already exists, actually.
When hosting a lobby, select "Lobby Settings". Then change the "Game Mode" option to "Blitz". In the Blitz game mode all players go at the same time.

Yes, you can play Blitz locally if you are using separate controllers.

I have 8 Xbox controllers.
• Does that mean 8 local players can play at the same time?
• Has the game been tested with more than 4 Xbox controllers to verify that the XInput limitation of max 4 XBox controllers doesn’t apply?
• Is it shared screen or split screen?
Have you considered to add a race mode where you need win by getting to the hole fastest instead of in the least amount of strikes?
MiniGolf Maker only supports up to 4 controllers for both Classic and Blitz mode.
Blitz mode is split screen, so you might be able to imagine how cluttered the screen would be with 8 different screens.
