How do I leave this game's steam group?
I'm tired of your spam, how do I opt out?

Good luck with that one. I unfollowed and the spam continues. I have the same problem with Guardians of Origon. Spam, spam, spam. When I complained about it on the Guardians of Origon forum, the Dev gave me a perm ban to the forum. Telling me all I to do was to unsubscribe but that doesn't work!!!
I figured it out [prepare for the ban and topic deletion!], you have to remove the game entirely from your library.

Thats a bug on steam then, it has nothing to do with the developers who just want to advertise their live streams (which is absolutely okay)

It has everything to do with the DEV. In the Guardians of Origon forum I asked how I can stop all the spam self promotions I was getting. The bottom like, the Dev gave me a perm ban for complaining about their spam telling me in the ban message, all I had to do was unfollow. It Clearly that doesn't work and his solution was to ban me from that forum.
well banning you for this is kinda pathetic, if what you say is true.

I think to unfollow the game completely, you have to go to the main page of the community-hub and then click the "unfollow" button at the top right.

TheMasterBlaster, you were warned many times to stop solliciting our posts.

You're more than welcome to leave but constantly comment-bombing updates, threads or marketing attempts is not allowed and was warned many times. Please refrain in the future and if you wish to avoid updates for this game use the STEAM features to do so.

If you've issues with those please contact Steam support as there is nothing on our end we can accomplish for you if you're not interested in: game updates, game content, game support and game awareness for Orion.

Please refer to Steam as we don't have any access or know-how in those backends.
