I mean journey's end was supposed to be the last one. game is finished. Everything they do now is because they like working on the game and just want to keep doing that.

In my opinion, the re logic is probably working on a big update, it doesn't make sense, 4 years without really impactful updates. For me, one thing that really needs a fix or a redesign is the jungle temple; everything in the jungle temple is literally so poor in creativity, the main boss fight is terrible, the golem is the easiest boss in hard mode and there's no fun in it.

5 years 2 months 💀there is plenty ways to improve terraria, just adding new world settings, events and etc... if you've seen terraria 2 concept

In this particular case that's coz the update was promised. So it's a problem of high expectations. People create expectations themselves then get frustrated when those expectations don't become reality.

I'm generally against updates for terraria but earlier I noticed there's no setting to make the game play audio while out of focus, hopefully they add that in the next one

You can still have the game's audio play when tabbed out, but only on MP

oh how? it's been irking me when I've been playing with a friend and whenever I alt tab the audio cuts out
I scoured the settings but didn't find anything to play audio while alt-tabbed

I meant sounds like getting hurt, etc, not actual BGM
