"thousands of years of technologial breakthrough"
The store page states that "you start with nothing and advance through thousands of years of technological breakthroughs".

Can someone explain to me what that entails and how? I've gone so far as to building with bricks and making bronze tools. The pictures on the store page basically show medieval castles and whatnot, which I technically *could* build, but what's the point? My people still will sleep on hay mats, sit on cobble stone to craft dough and bake bread in open fire pits.

Am I at the end already? Am I missing *the* one object to research to really break open the game? The "task tech tree" doesn't seem to go any further than where I am now.

It's ok if the game is not there yet, especially considering the limited personnel and it being early access. Then it shouldn't state the future possibilities as facts though.

I said this on another post, but, you're underestimating the time between the start of the game (near the end of the neolithic) and the start historical of the Bronze age is over a thousand years right there. Have a great day!

... all in the lifetime of four or five Sapien generations.
Yep, that's pretty much it.
The typical problem with an early release game is what the developer wants to do with it and what's available to do in early access is never the same.
After you learn bronze working the only thing left to do is overpopulate your tribe until your computer can't handle it, or start over with a new tribe in a different environment.
