Humanitarian achievement
"Faced with difficult decisions in the Remnants of War campaign, you went for the more humane options."

How do you get it?

These are conditions for unlocking "Humanitarian" achievement:

The Peacekeeper: Make sure no supply crate get damaged. Plan your air drop location carefully.
The Guerrilla: Don't use IDAP ambulance in the barricade. There are other vehicles you can use instead.
The Redacted: Don't kill IDAP doctor. He'll return back to the church if you wait (the delay is shorter when you identify him).
The Survivor: Reach the church unarmed. Picking up a weapon is fine as long you drop it and don't kill anyone.
The Major: Don't execute any incapacitated enemy. Spreading mines has no effect on this, the situation justifies it.

You should receive the achievement once after credits, when the article appears.

Just got the achievement. In addition to all of the above, in "The Major" don't use the mine dispenser.

Anyone? Please

I'm wondering about this too. What the more humane options refer to? I completed all optional missions without getting the achievement.

It is worth noting that missions can be completed slightly differently, for instance in the mission that you play as the AAF soldier it is possible to complete it without deploying the mine field (other than the ones the major deploys) and still not kill all the enemy (once you kill a certain number you get given the option to retreat, also worth noting I fired at the flat bed while it was driving past the castle to make it stop early and buy me some extra time though the smaller truck still comes, then after that ran over and engaged the NATO squad before they got to the church while they were down the hill to the west) I think doing these actions may help to get the achievement as laying the mines would be considered bad, also after doing the mission this way Alexis was reported as missing not dead.

oh and I also managed to save the major though it was very hard and once I got the option to retreat he seemed to have god mod and ran past all the remaining contacts with out killing them or getting shot so don't worry about that

1. dont use the ambulance as an road block.
2. dont use any weapons when you have to reach the church.
3. the doctor and the civilian on the far right side must survive when u order the CAS
4. dont plant any mines directly on the road, just plant them over the tank mines besides the road.
5. when it comes to the officers mission, dont plant the mine despenser.
and finally i have chosen the right question mark symbol

I missed one and recomplete the mission but seems not work. Any idea about when the achievement pops up or other specail points?

In the REDACTED mission the docter working in the center of town will return to the church after a while. I belive there are 3 civilians in total 2at the church and the doctor in the center

Thanks, I managed to unlock it by following these steps. :ontoagoodthing:

I've tried all of Vidik's steps but still to no avail.

I have replayed each of the missions (not in chronological order, assumming that doesn't matter?) until they go back to the mission selection page.
Is there something I'm missing here? Do I have to replay ALL of the missions in order?

Basically, you'll have to revert up to the first mission in which you did something "wrong" and play from there till the end, that's how Arma 3 saves system works.
