Introduction
The 4th Infantry Brigade is a MilSim unit based off the Royal Yorkshire Regiment with over 150 active members. Founded in 2015, the 4th runs serious deployments over multiple months, where the actions of the players directly affect the route of the deployment, with various kinds of operations, ranging from COIN to foreign defence. Previous deployments number over 30, and have been located in South America, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and more.

Unit Composition
The 4th Infantry Brigade Milsim consists of two battalions, 2 RYORKS and 1 RYORKS, as well as the Joint Aviation Command and 3 Medical Regiment. Together, these make up the 2 RYORKS Battlegroup, under which we conduct large scale operations.

Alma, Burma and Corunna Company are Infantry Companies each consisting of two Platoons. They form the backbone of our light infantry operations, with Alma Company operating on Saturdays, Burma Company on Sundays, and Corunna on Wednesdays. Our companies are trained in high-intensity warfighting, counter-insurgency, security sector reform, peacekeeping or supporting civil authorities and work closely with other elements. The companies are experts in dismounted close combat and rigorously trained in light mechanised roles, to fight by foot or by vehicle. The only element that separates them is their role, whilst Alma and Burma Company operate as light infantry; Corunna utilizes their expertise as Mechanised Infantry to dominate the Area of Operations.

3 Medical Regiment provides talented medics for both the platoon and company levels, which save lives in the field and make sure that the wounded are safely evacuated.

Joint Aviation Command combines Squadrons from the Royal Air Force, RAF Regiment, and British Army to provide a wide range of support assets to our ground forces. From No. 18 Squadron and their Chinooks, the Apache Gunships from No. 662 Squadron AAC, and our JTAC's and FAC's in the Air Land Integration Cell. Each provides the opportunity for role specific training, accurate to their real life counterparts that is essential to each of our Operations.

For those interested in being a Zeus for such a large group, our 12th Military Intelligence group offers the chance to work with a group of dedicated game masters that work with our Mission Designers and Company HQs to provide operations that vary in theme from reassurance patrols and civilian interactions, to large scale Conventional Warfare.

All positions have pathways into leadership roles for those inclined, and come with their own dedicated training courses to ensure everyone knows how to excel within their chosen role.

Our Operations
Throughout all our Operation nights we attempt to provide as high a realism level as possible. Unlike other units, the 4th Infantry Brigade does not only do this by implementing an accurate Chain of Command and good tactics, we also offer Persistence. When you log out of our servers your position and equipment will be saved, meaning you will load in right back where you left off. This makes our operations feel lived in and alive, as you won’t always go straight to the arsenal at your main base and get a full loadout.

Due to this we also operate a realistic, player managed Logistics system. If you need more ammunition, grenades, food, water or anything at all, you will order it and wait for our logistical chain to get it to you.
