Is the base edition enough for playing on the servers?
im looking at the store page and deluxe doesnt really have anything interesting and ground edition is too expensive. i remember my friend telling me the apex dlc is a must if you dont want to see ads on your screen 24/7 in this game. im honestly confused as is this even worth buying the base if deluxe doesnt have anything and ground is too expensive

Just buy the base game with the Apex DLC, those two editions dont include much.
Base game has a ton of content, Apex will add to it with a new map
and many other things.

Plus with steam workshop you have access to thousands of free mods, and
many thousands of scenarios to play, including campaigns and many other things.

The prices for this game is a steal best buy now before the sale ends!

Most of the Server use stuff from Apex and/or Contact DLC. So if you dont own the dlc you can use vehicles from those dlcs only as passenger. Weapons and other stuff is not usable - or if you can pick it up you get a big hint on the screen that you are using premium stuff.

Ground Edition contains both main DLCs - APEX and Contact - both give you new maps to play on - new items to use - and both have a new SP Campaign.
