What is the Workshop Tool?
When i try to launch this the game seems to do a quick download and update then it shows an error saying missing executable. Apparently there is suppose to be a workshop folder in the games directory and a Ord Workshop.exe file but the folder does not exist...?

Hello! Apologies for this confusion!

We have created some new tools for the game so you can create your own stories and share them on the workshop.

We are currently testing the tools and this is why the button has appeared as we are super close to pushing this big new update live!

I don't want to give an exact date, but unless something extremely bad happens to our team the tools will be available in under a month :D

Hope this answer helps!

Sounds good. I am interested to see how this will be implemented. Will it be a visual tool like twine or more menu driven or perhaps it will be more like scripting form?

Stories are created using a spreadsheet - we prototyped a twine like tool, and even a tool with the same visuals as the game itself but we found that a spreadsheet gives you the highest amount of information out of any interface.

I'd say the hardest part of creating an Ord. story is designing the structure before you start implementing. We're trying to nail down a good tutorial for this reason.

We'll be releasing a spreadsheet for one of the current stories to help too. I think right now it will be Dimensions but not set in stone

Thanks for your reply. Sounds good, also being able to see a current game spreadsheet will help see how it is done and also add variants of that story. Look forward to trying it out.

Wondering about this myself. "Under a month?" Did something happen? Would love to know more about this! Just played Ord. with a couple friends tonight for about an hour and a half and we all agreed it was really fun. We're planning to use it to generate role-playing scenarios/stories. Would love to see something about this Workshop Tool and what can be done with it to enhance/customize the experience :)

Hows the progress with this? no hurry doing something right the first time is always better than rushed. Just curious to know how things are progressing.

Hello! The update will be releasing next week.

This naturally took a lot longer to get ready than we had hoped - thanks for your patience

Happy new year :)
