Too Many Random Heroes
I started playing Salzaar again recently just before the newest update came out and I have been really enjoying the changes since my last playthrough.

Though the newest update has made things a bit chaotic and tiring with just how numerous the randomly generated npcs are. Surprisingly enough, the Thur, Dakn, and Dhib factions got eliminated in the first 70 days of my playthrough and now the Nasir and Ahkal both have 50+ heroes within their rosters.

Attacking either faction at this point will just have my cities getting swarmed by the hordes of armies both sides have at their disposal. I can easily crush these armies to be honest, but what about the couple dozen heroes attacking my other cities? How do I try to attack enemy cities if they can send wave after wave of heroes to divert my attention to defense? I stuffed two of my cities with over 40 heroes and I hadn't even made a major dent in the Akhal hero roster before the prisoners started escaping.

I think maybe there should be a setting or slider to limit the number of random NPCs generated when making a new game.

yup this is why i stopped playing again i even bought the dlc and didnt get to use it, maxed out 29 of 29 army 7 of 7 heroes t5 t6 troops including 3 dragons zerker who solos hundred of units and lost a fight because of getting over 350 reserves just kept stacking, like good god shouldnt have to fight an entire map at once
