There are no more koi trophies. You are extremely lucky if you catch a blue one. Too bad, I started to play this game just for the China koi.
On the other hand, other carp maps are good, am getting a lot of big carp.

At the moment, the situation with the koi is like this: 50 have been caught, of which 42 are green, 5 are white, and 3 are blue. That basically says it all. In the past, the green and blue were fairly evenly matched.

I agree, Iran is now the worst map in the game, it is one conglomeration of big water without any distinctive points for specific fish species. I see an increasing tendency to remove flora and landforms in the fishing grounds.
Example...Finland lost areas of reeds on the northeastern shore where there were beautiful tench. To this day, a beautiful mountain stream in Italy has not been restocked, and in my opinion it is the most charming place on the map. This is the main problem...
With Norway it is similar.... Gone is a beautiful river with a waterfall, a bay with freshwater fish....
Examples can be listed a lot.

Well, I like the new Norway map. I quite like it, even if I miss the original upper part. But I can also understand the other players who preferred the old map. Regarding Iran, I also think the old map was much better. I liked the area with all the reeds and the rather swampy character there. I spent a lot of time in that area. I would like to see certain old maps recreated as additional bodies of water. Even just as an event map, as far as I'm concerned.

No matter how much XP or money they bring, I just want to catch the big Koi's, nothing more.

? koi (dont own DLC's and probably will never buy them out of principle*)

+0.5 norway (i like the new map, but miss the distinct features of the old map)


* My anti-DLC principles are as follows
- maps containing unique gear that can be used competitively (ranking, tournaments) should be open to all
- maps containing ranked fish should be open to all
- expectations for a real-money bought map are different than a standard map, creating issues for both players and developer(s)

norway was better for polar shark fishing lol, 5 trophy polar caught on old map NONE ON GREENLAND !!!

i agree make norway and iran great agaain and bring back the damn koi, why have a fish in the game that doesnt even bite haha, dont turn into rf4.

Base game map Czechoslovakia also have Koi , same problem there though. Only small ones

+1 Please give us the big koi's back, I don't need XP or credits only big koi's

I am fairly a new player. I do have the dlc so I fish the map with telesticks and its a lot of fun catching those beautiful kois. But I did notice u don't get large ones compared to the other carps.
