Yeah seen it too, but to me there are other issues that needs to be adressed first.
Remember its still a game under development and it properly always will be.
It's also still new enough I'm more entertained by it, when a 2kg crucian can make waves so big that I see the shallows because it parts the water like Moses lol
In the beta sometimes the water goes wild too, a bunch of ripples popping off like several boulders hitting the water in quick succession. Waves hitting each other causing new ones to form, or increased surface fish splash/aesthetics?
Probably the wave physics, but hoping for the latter since I would like some more sight-fishing type cues when looking over the water.
