From 30 impossible? Lol. Leveling is just starting from 40))

Leveling starts once you reach level 45, I been trying to reach level 46 since spring and got 94% done toward it...

level 30 ? used to be 40 then 45 maybee now 42 with the new map . move around change tactics try harder of the two top fishing games this is a much better grind

The game is set up like a F2P game for some reason... the dev shows utter disrespect to paying customers imo.

I have 1,100 hours in the game. The levelling curve really sucks starting at level 40.
Prior to that it's not super bad, but it can be a bit time consuming.

I stopped playing a few months ago because I was playing with someone who had the VIP, and he was coming up faster and getting more fish.
Partly it makes sense because that's what VIP does.
What I find unreasonable is... I bought the game and all the dlc. It is not a free to play game.

I will try to find another interesting fishing game or wait for one to come out, for the moment I am considering Russian fishing 4, although it can not be played with controller.

VIP does not provide more fish, and RF4 has insane cash shop pricing and is designed to push you towards the cash shop...

I think the life long VIP for RF4 is only $2,000 USD.

What fishing simulator do you recommend?

RF4 is a better simulator with horrendous game design.
TFO is a better game with decent simulation.
Make of that what you will. All the other fishing games are either arcady(and fun) or plain bad.
