Back after a couple of years, curious about some things.
1: Where did I get these Salamo sfox reels? I coulda sworn I got them on Perruchet but havent seen them on any of the current lakes i have (level 21)
2: Why does the boat freak out sometimes on the Delta? Out here trying to troll for Zander and it decides fly off at 500kmh because i dares to turn around to go back up/down the waterway. It legit wont stop without me relogging when it does this.
3: Given the boat troubles, any suggestions for fish to aim for? particularly during the day. I do a LOT of sterlet fishing at night but during the day there's grass carp, but would like some variety. My attempts to find spots, even with tfo, haven't been the best. Or the boat freaks out and makes it frustrating.

I would recommend going for Koi fish at daytime.. Nothing has changed on those! Oh wait a second... no, nothing changed...

The shigure Koi right? They were one I tried but idk if my spots are wrong or what. Even tried the public GB recipe on the tfo site.
Unless you mean the dlc koi, I don't actually have any of the dlc currently. Didnt think to mention that'

No no, all the Koi on China map... Nothing has changed in bite rates or sizes you get on them... (sarcasm might have been used)

On a serious note though.. The game has taken a fall for the worse. Seems to be more broken than fixed with every new update/event unfortunately.

Oh seeing a review on that dlc I see yeah, seems it got nerfed. Honestly on the one hand, dlc lakes feels a bit odd(like how DO you balance them to not overshadow regular waterbodies?) but on the other, nerfing them feels...wrong. Like you paid for it yknow?

You should try Ocean spinning reels they have more power and higher friction settings compared to Salmo and reel is upgradable, but you need to get to Norway to buy it. On this note, what did latest update did to the reels since pulling small fish on powerful rods takes forever and it's almost like pulling fish on rubber line so much resistance....

Ill look into it. I found the Salamo, i guess it was just the lake line i dont see in any shop now.
I dont recall them costing this much though, I dont recall quite making that much bank in past.

There was a patch a while ago that increased pricing of gear. However, it's nothing crazy.

Some items were increased in price by 5 to 6 times, that's pretty crazy to me.

I think it all depends on the resulting price. It'e easy to make 10K silver par day these days.

KillJoy, you probably didn't play recently, since prices on fish pieces cargos dropped significantly and it's no longer profitable to acquire them through AH.

Still made 1.1K with them just now. But yes, it was 711 per box. Lucky number!

It seems that to make good profit now, you need to actually spend time and fish, but on the bright side it will yield XP gain 😉

Prices do seem higher, but exp and coin rates dont seem bad thankfully. Can still make about 1 to 2 thousand a trip currently
