Sorting vehicles by serial number in alphabetical order
Please add a sorting option for vehicles by serial number in alphabetical order. Currently, when you have more than 500 vehicles, it's a complete mess, and finding the right one and keeping track of it becomes very difficult.

Technically you can by renaming the train model and its number after buying it.

Unfortunately there are some cases where they are obviously sorted by internal game ID or purchase order and not their running number you can change. Like assigning to shifts. That looks like a mess right now.

No, this not working, vehicles are sorted by purchase order and model, not by name

It depends on where. In the Schedules view they are sorted by purchase date, in the train list, by name. You don't control prior purchase dates, but you do control names. So you can rename (renumber) trains to match the purchase date order.
