Ever since landless was put into the game I've been having this issue.

If you start as a landless character then take land and become a count or higher, you don't get notifications when a council position is needed. Its a bit annoying because I don't check it that often and someone could have an empty position for years on end damaging my land. I haven't played the game in ages and surprised this is still an issue.

Please fix this.
