Report a translation problem
some short scenarios can be played in 3/4 hour, and sandboxes can take you a whole day if you play a large faction.
There is a steep learning curve however : most people do not know very well the era, and this is the kind game you will play at first without being aware of all the rules and possibilities (they are more than 200 actions you can conduce on factions, districts, characters, armies, etc...)
Steam datas shows that people who make the effort easily play more than 50 hours.
Also beware the rabbit holes: some players start reading frantickly about China after playing.
