Some features i wish to ask about
Top down view? Grid over lay feature? Last but not least can we have a converter to squares. (side note: would also be great to be able to change a single block of space.)

I plan to make a table with a tv built into it and would love to use the program in real time but the lack of top down and grid over lay features would make this harder to use.

Hey, good ideas!
A dedicated control to switch to a top-down view sounds good. You could also rotate the camera straight down to get a top-down view

In the settings you can actually turn on grid lines to be either over or under your map. Let me know if you need help finding that.

I previously had a grid type converter, but felt it was a little cumbersome to manage. Maybe I'll add it back in a future update. :)
