The Demo is 'most likely' not updated, as for it's performance, in comparison with the actual game. So, yes, the actual game 'should' perform slightly better than the demo... in theory. But, there's a lot of factors that maybe affecting the situation in your case. It may be that your system just needs some maintenance and optimization along with some driver updates. Cuz those things greatly affect performance in games. And, ofc, your hardware specifications could be a factor. I have no clue what type of system you're using. But, for reference, I use what is considered a medium capability gaming PC... which is now considered outdated. But, I get great performance in this game along with most all my other games. However, I'm a bit tech savvy and do have my system pretty well optimized so, others mileage may vary even with the same hardware.
