Why are the Nowheraki Swat so bad?
Is it by design? A bad squad as a challenge?

And I don't mean just the gadgets. Even their aiming speed and accuracy is terrible.

They often stun lock themselves when an enemy is in melee range, from how slow they are to aim back after striking them.

Yep, they're undertrained, underfunded, and not as well prepared as the Rangers or CIA (which are both cream of the crop, as it were). It's a hard adjustment to playing as militia, but some folks really like them. They're the only unit (at the moment) that can use shields and you can deploy more of them on a map, so it's not all negative.

Hi, definitely a challenge. IvantheFormidable listed the positive traits.

I loved them in early access, more so that the other two teams really, especially being able to take extra people when you bring the super bum minion guys
Because you can spawn 2 at cost of one, and they can weild UZI wich will easly supress any ♥♥♥♥♥ especialy at close ranges + sappers extra loeaded with explosives and etc
How to sum this up while referencing Star Wars.

- SWAT Team use strength in numbers tactics like B1 Battle Droids do.

- Rangers are more combat effective, much like Clone Troopers.

- CIA are basically BX Commando Droids, blending in amongst their enemies and then striking.

i ran missions to level them up and they dont.. maybe thats why they suck lol
As a Nowheraki Swat main you must stick as a team. Double up the tactics until you have high leveled members :ops: . Plus yeah its for a challenge

Also Sappers are just so fun...boom booms everywhere...

Because they are some 3rd world country swat team (more like militia lol) with emphasis on fielding more dudes to make up for their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ gears and training.

But really tho, militias with leader buff + having shielder in front is not too bad.
Not as good as straight up turn the corner and win the corner contest with ranger.
But usable enough.

After a few perks, they get better and better. I like the challenge. First mission with them was a nasty surprise (at long range.... omg).
You can train them with US weapons with a perk and so on. I think they have a great progression
I use SWAT the most. Just blow everything up lol.

I don't think they are too bad tbh, you need to level them up but they can get to a similar level as the rangers, not individually as good (although I feel they are oddly faster in switching targets compared to the rangers while definitely not as accurate) but the superior numbers make up for it, I find out it's actually easier to execute more complex plans due to their numbers.
theyre really useful in coop once you level them. in solo i dont like them as much but coop they are worth their weight in gold

Completely different tactics with SWAT. Rangers can cover a gateway with a single barrel or two, but SWAT requires 2 or 3 minimum. Everything is minimum with these guys, training, weapons, and tactics all min. Consider that with your tactics and accept the challenge. They have molly cocktails for crying out loud! What the hell lol. Its a friggen party with these guys.

FINE.

I've changed my mind. They are pretty cool.

They are SHOCKINGLY bad at level 1 and 0 doctrines though, WAY worse than the other 2. But once you've leveled them up. They are pretty good.

It seems the doctrines play a much bigger role in their squad than the others, and I haven't even bought the shield.
