Option to make units ALWAYS face a given direction?

Its annoying how many times i have to tell them "aim in this direction" when moving because if I let them move for even a second without an aiming command they just auto face the direction they are moving, generally resulting in very rapid death, could there be a way to not have to tell my units where to aim every single moment of their movement and just have them face the direction I want?

Aiming
Right Click Drag - Simple Aimpoint (Yellow Arrows), Look this way for a couple of steps.
Add CTRL -> Strafe (Blue Arrows). Walk while looking at a particular angle, valid till canceled by another order
Add SHIFT -> Slice the Pie (Purple Arrows) Walk along the path while turning to face the exact point of the arrow. Valid till canceled by another order.

I have almost 80 hours and have nearly cleared every mission with 3 stars and I had NO idea about the CTRL walk... I also just found out about individual colors for each troop.

It's in the tutorial. This is one of those that should be hard to miss.
