Fix for saving on Linux
When I started the game today, I realized that I couldn't save the game.

After executing the game through the command line, I discovered that the directory "data.unity3d" wasn't created in ".local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Higurashi When They Cry Hou - Ch.8 Matsuribayashi/HigurashiEp08_Data/".

If you have the same problem as I did, just create the directory "data.unity3d" in the path mentioned above. Hopefully it'll work.

That's odd. For me, it's always been under ~/.config/unity3d/MangaGamer and still is even for this arc. (Well, there was some stuff under ~/.config/unity3d/Mangagamer (note the lowercase "g") for the first couple of arcs, because someone forgot that Linux is case-sensitive and was sloppy with their pathnames.) I wonder why yours would be in a different location.

The interesting thing is that the save is, indeed, located in "~/.config/unity3d/MangaGamer".
However, the saving wasn't taking effect because of the single fact that there wasn't a "data.unity3d" directory in the path I specified. And the directory is empty... which is quite funny.

I'm not sure if everyone will have the same problem I had, but if they do that's how I managed to solve it.

Interestingly enough, I had a similar problem with Meakashi, but the cause was different. For some reason the save directory wasn't writable. Not every Linux user had this problem, but it's described in this topic: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/app/577480/discussions/0/2592234299575170655/ (in which you posted, actually).

Still odd. I don't have such a directory where you're talking about, and I can make saves. I feel like maybe there's something in your configuration. Or maybe it's an earlier version with a bug? I updated to this latest version before testing.

Unless the game updated after I created this topic, I'm pretty sure I was using the latest version.
Regardless, I also just installed the game on my laptop with basically the same Linux config and I couldn't replicate the error -- which is fortunate in a way, I guess.
I also received the same warning when executing the game through the command line, but it didn't impact the saving system. Weird.
