SPOILER question (around the beggining of the game)

So, as the game goes on starting past, than just before present than again past, she gets cauth, and she describ this and that what happents to all kids as xxxx. Why....its a horror game....why this censorship....The children are horrable traumatized and that ok but if they were to show tools that causes psysical pain, just mentioning them is a big taboo? Are this xxxx censorship from the original game or is this some kind of crap localization translation some idiot came up to protect the sanity of anyone who can read everythig of this series but will get traumatized if something non psychological is showen that harms a person....It really ruined the mood of horror and terror for things to be described as xxxx.....

I've always assumed it's an expression of her blocking out the memory because it's so traumatic.

And no, this is not something the localization came up with, AFAICT. The Japanese text has "＊＊＊＊＊" and such in it as well.

Thanks for confirming. After playing a few games (moe, anime, horror like this, etc) that I didn't realise had contence removed or even worse when they never shoed up, I really am absolutly furios of any kind of censorshit localisations do (like Yougioh and SMT have).

Bassically yes, I did not even take that possibility in account. I automatically dissmised it since its clearly all of them were brutaly and inhumantaly beated (naked, force object in them, harmed etc) and because thir are childern automatically censored since in non Asia places, anything to do with child abuse is an absolute taboo. (like Utawarerumono scene when one of the child was spanked was removed because it was considered traumatazing....yes.....I absolutly hate any kind of censorshit people...)
