Is this arc linked to Rei or Gou?

POTENTIAL SPOILERS FOR GOU AND REI BELOW

Both Gou and Rei seem to be heavily involved with Matsuribayashi's ending, with Rei starting a few months after and the Satokowashi-hen arc starting directly / a few years after. Considering Rei is apparently the canon ending from what i've seen, what does this mean for Gou? Satoko acknowledges the event of Rei in either Gou or Sotsu (I cant remember of the top of my head), so does this mean that both arcs are parallel worlds that simultaneously happened, or am I missing some important detail? Basically my question is whether this Matsuribayashi leads into Rei or Gou.

Matsuribayashi is the conclusion of the original series. Rei, or more specifically the Saikoroshi chapter from Rei, serves as a series epilogue.

Gou is a full-on sequel, following both.

I understand that, I just don't get how gou could happen if Saikoroshi ended with Rika going back to the world where she beat Takano. The only possible way I could see it working is if you ignore how Satokowashi starts and have it to where Rika decides to study abroad after the events of Rei.. It doesn't help either that I can't seem to find an arc timeline that includes gou and sotsu, so for now I'm just going off of what I think fits best.
