The 52nd Fragment does not appear and I can't seem to progress the game?
Help?

When I exit the fragment area, I only get to go back in or to Load/Save.

There is no 52nd Fragment. At least not in the way you are thinking.

Remember when you looked at the Matsuribayashi Fragment, and she said it wasn't yet time to look at it? That's supposed to be a hint that you're not done with it. After you look at the "leftover piece", the Matsuribayashi Fragment is cracked (this is what I misremembered; I thought it was cracked right after you look at it). If you only followed a guide and got all the right Fragments at the right time, you would not have seen any other Fragment cracked, which seems to be an argument against relying solely on a guide (and I say this despite having created something of a guide myself). But the point is, you should want to fix such a thing.

In short, looking at it from a story perspective:
  1. Visit the Matsuribayashi Fragment: get told it's not time yet, that a miracle is needed. Another Fragment suddenly appears.
  2. Visit the new Fragment that appeared: a miracle does happen.
  3. Now that a miracle happened, revisit Matsuribayashi Fragment.

So, you don't proceed in a 52nd Fragment. You proceed in the 50th. This is probably confusing, because technically there is a 52nd Fragment, but it's actually a bonus, which doesn't progress the story, and isn't even available the first time you play.

(Spoiler: maybe you only should read this after you finish the arc?) This bonus Fragment only appears if you (1) have already finished the arc and (2) visit the Fragments in the exact right order, which is apparently the chronological order of the events, without any mistakes. It's a much more strict requirement than the one to simply progress the normal story. Most likely, it was designed this way as a reward for those obsessed enough to want to piece together the exact sequence of events. The author may also have expected the community of readers to work together to solve it.

I will attempt to help without just handing you the answer.

There is something you may have failed to understand about the Fragments. What you are expecting to see at this point does not exist. Instead, you have to go another way.

Consider these questions: did you ever click a Fragment too early? If so, what happened to it on the Fragment screens? And relatedly, what happened when you clicked on the "piece from Matsuribayashi", after completing the "seven Fragments"? (Specifically, what did you see about it on the Fragments screen that you would not have expected, given what usually happens?) These are all important to understanding what is happening.

Hmmm.....ok, I think I'm starting to understand a little more now. Lemme try again, will update when it works, or not.

Ok, I don't get it, can you explain and "hand me the answer"? :D

I only clicked on all the Fragments when they asked me to, and everytime I tried to exit, it wont let me.

Also, I clicked on each one in the order as shown on the Guides, but I can't get to the 52nd one.

The "piece from Matsuribayashi" cracked but according to some comments, it's normal.

Thanks, @fllthdcrb! My story can progress now. I should've figured it out as I followed the guide exactly on the order of the fragments but that was the only one cracked.

Was also confused by previous comments that mentioned a mod and to delete it, thinking there was a bug in the game since I couldn't continue.

Thanks a lot, much appreciated! :)
