What you need for each fragment is inside the other fragments that are required. Special attention will not be called to these events, so you need to pay attention to pick up on them. I recommend writing down the different things that are required, along with which fragments require each one, and having this list in front of you as you read. When you see one in the text, put a check mark or cross it off, or whatever.

It might be a good idea to start over so you can see them.

If you want to cheat, the answers are actually in the game data.

I'm pretty sure you must do them in order (without mistakes) to reach the secret ending.

Last I checked, you can't do it the first time through (unless they changed that for the Steam version), so don't worry about it until you finish.

I guess you could say that's technically true. But you still have to go all the way through to the end before you're allowed to see the extra content. Well, it does save having to go through the connecting fragments sequence a second time, so that's something.

I don't think everyone will want to know about this stuff before they've even finished, though.

In other words, it's something that just works to get through the second act, without regard to whether it's the "correct" order.

The order that gets you the secret ending is the one that presents all Fragments in chronological order, but their dependencies are quite loose, so something like the above that isn't even close to that order is still allowed.
