Hey, due to the problems that some of you are experiencing with the game, we are creating a guide so that we can resolve problems together. So here we go!

The game loads up to 89% for me/crashes while loading:

1. Check in the Steam shop that your Hardware meets the minimum requirements of the game.
2. You need to check that your antivirus is not blocking House Builder. This happens frequently if you have COMODO antivirus. What you need to do is add House Builder to your application exceptions/disable your antivirus while the game is running. This should help it to run. If you have a different antivirus, we recommend enabling the gaming mode of the antivirus - if this doesn't help then adding the game to exceptions

Is can be that the game is blocked by your Windows Defender.

3. If point 2 didn't help try doing a Steam reinstall and check the integrity of the House Builder game files (Steam Library -> Properties by right click on House Builder-> Installed Files-> Verify the game's files are installed correctly).

4. Check if you have latest drivers on your Graphic Card.


5. If this has done nothing, it is highly likely that there is something wrong with your save. You need to send us your save, I am sending a step by step guide:
