Oopsie daizy. Didn't see that at all although I've skimmed through previous posts
Cheers big ears!
I assume my network is actually blocking the server somehow (EVEN THOUGH the steam API is working?? )
The patch works fine, everything works fine, but I cannot detect the server in browser nor add it via it's IP on a different machine. I can only see it using it's internal IP. Anyone had this issue before?

I'm suspecting it's simply my own network somehow... which is still strange.
Nevermind, I'm retarded & Blind -- Ignore :D!
I replaced three files, as you said, but the server is still not visible in the general list. And the api test outputs the following {"response":{"success":true,"servers":[]}} Is there anything else I can do, or did I miss something?
If it's the one in your bio then it can communicate with Steam just fine by the looks of it: https://steamhost.cn/api_steampowered_com/ISteamApps/GetServersAtAddress/v1?addr=93.191.11.148
In any case I use LGSM [linuxgsm.com] to manage my servers so if you're on a Linux distro you could look into that.
Indeed, everything is fine with the api now - but the server is not displayed in the list. Moreover, this hosting hosts several other kf servers besides mine - and I see only one of them in the list. Could it be that you need to replace some more files from the steamcmd folder? Maybe the version there is outdated...
Maybe the issue is related to the server build you are using. According to the server info you are running an earlier version (1064) on your instance, while the current one is 1065
Damn it, really. It did not occur to me that the hosting version might be outdated. As far as I remember the old days, you just couldn't enter the server of another version - but I can enter my server.. Anyway, thanks for the answer, that's probably the point.
Starting a server and it wasn't connecting to steam. Can't believe it took me this long to find that this was the problem. Thanks
